Once upon a time, in a peaceful forest full of tall trees and colorful flowers, there lived a little bear named Benny. Benny was kind and playful, but there was one thing he did not like to do at all — share.
Benny had a basket full of delicious berries, shiny pinecones, and his favorite toy, a small wooden car. Whenever his friends came to play, Benny held his basket tightly and said,
“These are mine!”
One sunny day, Benny’s best friends — Lily the Rabbit and Max the Squirrel — came to visit. They wanted to play together and have a picnic. Lily brought carrots, and Max brought nuts, but Benny did not want to share his berries or his toy.
Soon, Lily and Max felt sad. They decided to play by themselves under a big oak tree. Benny watched them laughing and having fun, but he was all alone.
After a while, Benny felt lonely. He looked at his full basket and realized something important:
“Having everything doesn’t feel good if I have no one to enjoy it with,” he thought.
Benny walked over to his friends with a shy smile.
“I’m sorry,” he said softly. “Would you like to share my berries and play with my toy car together?”
Lily and Max smiled happily. They welcomed Benny with open arms. They shared all the food, played games, and laughed until the sun began to set.
From that day on, Benny learned that sharing makes friendship stronger. He discovered that when you share, your happiness grows — just like true friendship.
And from then on, the little bear was never lonely again.
