The Three Little Pigs – Bedtime Story Version

A gentle bedtime tale that teaches safety, patience, and home.

Once upon a quiet evening, when the moon was glowing softly in the sky, there lived three little pigs who decided it was time to build homes of their own.

The first little pig, who loved warm naps and easy days, built his house out of straw. It was quick and light, and when he finished, he curled up inside with a happy sigh.
“This will do just fine,” he whispered, drifting off to sleep.

The second little pig liked comfort but didn’t want to work too hard either. He built his house from sticks, stacking them carefully but not too carefully. When he was done, he made himself a cup of tea and enjoyed the gentle sounds of the forest around him.

The third little pig was thoughtful and patient. He believed that a good home should be strong and safe. So, while the days passed slowly, he built his house from bricks, placing each one with care. It took longer, but when it was finished, he smiled, knowing he could sleep peacefully inside.

One night, as the stars twinkled, a big bad wolf wandered into the forest. He was hungry and curious, and soon he found the straw house.

“Little pig, little pig, let me come in,” the wolf said softly.

But the pig shook with fear and replied, “No, no, no!”

So the wolf took a deep breath and huffed and puffed, and the straw house gently fell apart like dry leaves in the wind. The frightened pig ran as fast as he could to his brother’s stick house.

The wolf followed and tried again.
“Huff and puff!”
And the stick house could not stand either.

Together, the two pigs ran through the moonlit forest until they reached the brick house. The third pig opened the door quickly and welcomed them inside. They locked the door, and at last, they felt safe.

The wolf tried with all his might, but no matter how hard he huffed and puffed, the brick house stood firm and quiet. Tired and defeated, the wolf wandered away into the dark forest.

Inside the warm brick house, the three little pigs cuddled close, listening to the gentle night sounds. They learned that hard work, patience, and caring for one another bring true comfort and safety.

And with that lesson resting softly in their hearts, the three little pigs fell asleep…
peaceful, safe, and dreaming sweet dreams.
